Ocular anomaly in a Blue-sided Treefrog, Agalychnis annae (Amphibia: Anura: Phyllomedusidae), in Costa Rica. pp. 145-148.

Abstract. We report an adult Blue-sided Treefrog (Agalychnis annae) from Costa Rica exhibiting an ocular anomaly with two distinct pupil-like apertures in the right eye, resembling polycoria. The frog behaved normally, and the cause – whether congenital, traumatic, or environmental – remains unknown. This observation adds a novel type of ocular anomaly to the herpetological record.
